Technician-Level, 90-Hours of integrated instruction with excellent instructor support.
Course covers: Copper, Fiber, Wireless - Twisted Pair, Coaxial, and Single-mode and Multimode. Fiber and all their supporting subsystems and components. Students install, test, troubleshoot and certify structured-cabling systems. From Entrance Facility, to Equipment Room, to Wiring Closet, to Work Area, students plan, pull, punch-down, probe, prove, and improvise network wiring in a clean, safe, and controlled environment.
The trainer is an equipment rack inside a lockable cabinet on wheels. Doors double as walls for cable installations. All tools, consumable supplies and many accessories are available. Instructional materials include: Instructor Support Module (ISM), which has full lesson plans, required materials lists, background information, reading assignment summaries, lesson objectives, PowerPoint and HTML presentations with instructor narratives. Instructor Guide, a Presentation Notebook for the students with all thumbnails from the PowerPoint lectures, industry-standard textbooks, and workbooks tied to the Cabling Hardware and other components. |
