Technician-Level, 90-Hours of integrated instruction with excellent instructor support.

Course covers:  Copper, Fiber, Wireless - Twisted Pair, Coaxial, and Single-mode and Multimode.   Fiber and all their supporting subsystems and components.  Students install, test, troubleshoot and certify structured-cabling systems.  From Entrance Facility, to Equipment Room, to Wiring Closet, to Work Area, students plan, pull, punch-down, probe, prove, and improvise network wiring in a clean, safe, and controlled environment.

The trainer is an equipment rack inside a lockable cabinet on wheels.  Doors double as walls for cable installations.  All tools, consumable supplies and many accessories are available.  Not shown in this photo is an optional ccd camera and monitor, which is shown in the WAN configuration:    473k jpg

 Instructional materials include:    Instructor Support Module (ISM), which has full lesson plans, required materials lists, background information, reading assignment summaries, lesson objectives, PowerPoint and HTML presentations with instructor narratives.  Instructor Guide, a Presentation Notebook for the students with all thumbnails from the PowerPoint lectures, industry-standard textbooks, and workbooks tied to the Cabling Hardware and other components.
