Technology Literacy provides students with a study of several topics central to the use of technology in their daily lives: basic computer operations and concepts; the social, ethical, and human issues surrounding the use of computers; technology communications tools; technology research tools; and a study of technology productivity tools such as word processors, database managers, spreadsheets, and mulitimedia authoring software. The Technology Literacy program was developed around The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS).
